The Web Design Process

Consultation:

Step 1

A Big Tuna web coordinator will give you a call at a scheduled time to discuss things like your service offerings, company history, demographic and geographic targets and design taste. The information gathered on this call will be used to develop content for your website.

Copywriting:

Step 4

Your web coordinator creates copy that is a well-worded, accurate representation of your company and at the same time written in a way that is extremely appealing to search engines like Google.

Revisions:

Step 7

The Big Tuna team is awesome but we aren’t mind readers and there will no doubt be a few final tweaks before we launch. That’s why we go through the entire site with you for a round of revisions after the build-out.

Artwork:

Step 2

This is when you get to see what your site will look like and give us feedback on the design we provide. Don’t worry, if it’s not to your liking we can tweak the initial design or come up with something completely different. Check out some Examples

Build-out:

Step 5

This is the portion of the process where your web site comes alive. The design is converted into html code and content is added to make the individual pages of your web site. Once this step is completed you have a working site.

Launch:

Step 8

Once your website is launched it is up and running at your custom url (www.yourcompany.com) Send your clients, family and friends a link to your new website and start building your online reputation.

SEO Content:

Step 3

Every page of your new website will be optimized to target specific search phrases. During this step we develop a strategy to rank in the search engines and then create keyword-rich copy, meta-data and internal and external linking structures.
